Our story

Quality care for our neighbors, given freely.

Clara Community Health Center was built on a simple belief: being uninsured should never mean going without care.

Our mission

A clinic open to all who need it

Clara is a volunteer-run community health center in northeast Oklahoma City. We serve uninsured, low-income, and food-stamp-eligible Oklahomans — with no fees, no insurance requirement, and no barriers to walking through our door.

Our volunteer physicians and staff give their time so that everyone in our community can access basic health services with dignity. From a blood pressure check to a conversation with a doctor, every visit is offered with compassion and respect.
